8. Looking into the eye of zebrafish. The image shows the front view of the retina of a three-day-old zebrafish. The retina is stained by double in situ hybridization, labelingdifferent gene products. The yellow in the center is the lens. The red around lens labels undifferentiated retinal stem cells which will differentiate to retinal neurons. The purple in the periphery represents the cells which have already started to differentiate.
